How do I create a bulk physical send?

You can make a copy of the template to edit in Google Sheets or download it but you will always need to upload it into the Bluebird Portal in a CSV format.

To help you fill out the template, here is the description of each column and how they would be filled out:

If the recipient's address is known, indicate "N".

If it is not known or lacking details, you can collect the recipient's addresses by indicating "Y". This will generate a link and we can send an email on your behalf, but this will result in a much lower conversation rate as not everyone will complete the link.

Recipient Salesforce ID

No

Leave blank if there’s no Salesforce integration on your organization.

Salesforce Object Type

No

Leave blank if there’s no Salesforce integration on your organization.

Salesforce Opportunity ID

No

Leave blank if there’s no Salesforce integration on your organization.

First Name

It is not required if you’re sending to a home address but if you’re sending to an office location it greatly increases deliverability.

Phone highly recommended for improving deliverability. Must have for international shipments, as the users can get contacted by customs. If none is provided, we'll add the sender’s number.

Recommended for additional instructions such as t-shirt sizes or color options.

 

  1. Login to the web app portal.bluebird.cx
  2. Click on Create Bulk Engagement
  3. Pick your send
  4. Choose an email template or type in your message
  5. Click on Continue
  6. Upload your .csv file by clicking or dragging it in our “File uploaded” section
  7. Click on “Create Engagement”
  8. Download the Successful Engagements file and you will be provided the links to all engagements.
  9. Send those links to recipients and make sure they fill in their addresses
  10. After your desired recipients fill in the addresses, they just have to click in “Confirm” and it will automatically be updated and sent into a new order.
